Bad Boy's new southern recruit has climbed his way to the top from the bottom of the map. He's from the ATL and has made it all the way to Sean 'Diddy' Combs' Bad Boy South, his debut album "New Joc City" hit stores on June 6 debuting at a respectable #3. Now hyped about his newfound fame, Yung Joc has had a long road to travel.
At an early age, Yung Joc was inspired by artists such as Run DMC, LL Cool J, and Slick Rick. But as he grew his icons became Outkast, Tupac, and Biggie. He realized his passion for hip-hop and his desire to become a rap artist and decided to follow his dreams. Yung Joc was given that opportunity after a dope performance at Atlanta's historic Royal Peacock, on the same stage where legends such as Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin once performed. |
