Keith Murray stepped out of nowhere and made his first mark by losing a battle to Big Daddy Kane that still won him instant recognition within the hip hop community. Erik Sermon got the message and featured Keith on his next album, No Pressure, and doors started to open.
Keith's first album – The Most Beautifullest Thing in the World - spawned two hit singles, and immediately cemented his reputation for exceptional lyrics and surprising rhymes. He released two more albums through Jive records, both critically acclaimed, then served a 33-month prison sentence for assault. Emerging from prison with new material to record, and a new commitment, Keith signed with Def Jam records and his story continues to unfold. |
