| Kafani |
First known as half of the Bay Area group Babyface Assassins, Kafani jumped into the "fast" lane with his solo smash single Fast (Like a Nascar), featuring Oakland's hyphy heavyweight Keak Da Sneak. A smoking remix followed, with UNK as the remix guest feature, and Fast (Like a Nascar) made a second victory lap through the dance clubs.
Kafani then released his solo album debut, Money's My Motivation, with additional featured talent San Quinn and Crime Mob's Diamond, and major production support from Amp Live, Aion-I, Big Oomp Camp and DJ Montay. It's all too common to hear this or that artist proclaimed to be the "hottest rapper in the Bay Area". But Kafani isn't just another rumor. |
